Rio Grande offers the complete package to any mare owner. He excelled in the competition ring, first as a dressage horse (Basic Dressage Champion at prestigious Tournament of Champions as a four year old), then in the Hunter ring and finally as an International Show Jumper. He won several International Show Jumper classes and he was victorious in Nations Cups as part of "Team Canada" on more than one occasion.
Rio Grande is a proven producer of performance horses. His daughter Rio's Rhapsody has won several Grand Prix events under Canadian Show Jumping rider Erynn Ballard. Catwalk was the winner of two World Cup Qualifiers in Canada in 2007. Rio Grande is best known for producing some of the best hunters currently competing in North America such as 2002 AHSA Horse of the Year 'Rio Bronco' and 'Rio Renoir' - Champion at the $60,000 National Horse Show. Rio produced numerous WEF Champions such as Eye Remember Rio, Due North, Rio's Echo and Rio Bravo. Rio Grande has been in the top 5 of the USEF Hunter Sire ranking for several years now and is arguably "The Best Hunter/Jumper Sire in Canadian History."
PF's Black Tie
Descending from the growing Bolero Line
Descending from the ever-growing Bolero line, Black Tie PF shares a pedigree with greats such as Beauvalais, Brentina and Bonaparte to name a few. Sire Baroncelli was the performance test winner in Munster Handorf, 202 best stallion of the year, fourth at the 2004 World Championships. Dam SPS Regina by Raphael, was a successful jumper and is a member of the german jumper breeding program.
The influence of Ramiro contributes greatly to Raphael’s prepotency for siring top horses of diverse abilities, including Ramina, Rockefeller, Raphaelo, Ravallo and Radiator. Raphael is also seen in some top hunter pedigrees as well as in the damlines of approved stallions. Black Tie PF had a very successful career in the hunter ring, earning many championship, and notable wins. Showing thought the Pre Green hunters primarily in Ocala where he has based in training.
Black Tie PF a very notable sire of many accomplished sons, and daughter who have captured top scoring mare titles, jumper breeding program approvals, multiple wins to championships in performance thru-out many disciplines, to top scoring foals at there inspection.

Descending from the famous Argentinus line
Apiro is a son of the legendary Stallion Argentinus, who led the FN statistics of his age group for prize money earned by his progeny in both dressage and show jumping for an amazing severn years. A successful advanced level show jumper himself, Argentinus sired 28 approved sons, 48 State Premium mares and became Germany's youngest millionaire Stallion, based on money won by his progeny. He was renowned for passing on his wiling temperament to his offspring. His sire, Argentan 1, produced 19 approved sons and 119 State Premuium mares and was highly regarded as a broodmare sire. From Absatz, the type and unmistakable face of his sire, Abglanz, is stamped generation after generation. From Argentinus' damsire, Duden II, comes the dynamic movements and impulsion of Duellant.
Apiro's dam, the State Premium Mare Pyrah H, is a strong producer of sporthorses including the showjumpers Perle, Pandora and Power Girl. Pyrah H is by the exceptional jumper sire, Pilot, who was the first showjumping stallion with progeny to earn one million deutschmarks. His second dam, Ceda H, is by the Cyklon son, Cyrus who established a good jumper line and was a superior sporthorse sire.
Apiro was Reserve Champion of his 30-day test in 2004 with 8.51 overall, 8.86 for jumping and 7.99 for dressage. He completed his sport requirements in Germany by qualifying for the 2005 Bundeschampionat in showjumping. Apiro competed successfully in the working hunter ring as well as with his amateur owner. He is producing quiet minded, athletic offspring, stamped with his type.

An Abundance of Outstanding Quality
PF's Viktor is a 4 year old Black Hanoverian Stallion - the only son of the world renown Hanoverian Stallion Viscount, in the US to date. Viktor's very notable dam line highlights the famous stallions Contendro I and Drosselklang. Viktor's abundance of outstanding quality: movement, scope, jumping style, correct conformation and class - that mirror his very impressive pedigree.
PF Viktor's sire, Viscount, is the son of Valentino - Acorado. He finished the 2011 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing as the most expensive jumping stallion, and secured himself a stall at the Niedersächsischen Landegestüt Celle. Viscount is known for his outstanding conformation, a very good striding walk, and an excellent swinging trot full of impulsion. The beautifully typed stallion set himself apart from the rest even more on Friday. With a consistently uphill canter, tremendous ability, and an excellent style over the jump, he catapulted himself into being one of the favorites of the Niedersachsen hall. The Breeding Evaluation Committee agreed with the audience, and named this stallion bred by Rainer Schuster a Premium stallion. Aptly also worthy of mention is Viscount’s flawless character.
Viscount’s grandsire, Now or Never M, has been ranked in the top 10% of the FN Breeding Value Index for the past few years, and ranked right up there with him is his son and Viscount’s sire, Valentino, who was given an outstanding index of 158/88% in 2012. Now or Never was stationed in 2003 at the State Stud Celle in order to bring the valuable genes of the Hanoverian sire, Voltaire, who left to found a stallion line in the Netherlands, back to Hanover.

An outstanding combination of show jumping pedigree
PF's Da Vinci W (Diamo Blue x Covergirl W / Diarado) is a 3 year old Registered Canadian Warmblood Oldenburg Stallion from W. Charlot Farms, comes from a top show jumping pedigree ~ Diarado (Diamant de Semilly) x Chacco Blue. We are very pleased to welcome this quality young Canadian Stallion to the US breeding market.
Diamo Blue completed the 70 day stallion test in 2015 and was imported to North America in the fall of 2015. He competed successfully in young horse jumper classes both in Florida and in Ontario in 2016 and 2017. With Kristjan Good in the saddle, Diamo Blue excelled in his first show season competing in the hunter ring in 2018. He won the Hunter Derby at the Royal West in Calgary and claimed the Canadian Reserve Championship Title in the Combined Hunters at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto. In 2019, Diamo Blue came third in the Hunter Derby at the Royal Winter Fair with catch rider Ryan Roy in the irons. True to his bloodlines, Diamo Blue combines athleticism and unbelievable scope with an amateur friendly temperament.
Da Vinci W's Grandsire, Diarado, was champion at the licensing and champion at the stallion performance test achieving dream scores of 10 for jumping. Diarado has many licensed sons and was number 1 of the German FN show jumping breeding stallion ranking (Zuchtwertschaetzung) in 2013.
Diamant de Semilly, Great Grandsire, has been one of the best show jumping sires worldwide for many years and had the highest number of offspring of any stallion competing at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in France.
The dam’s sire Chacco Blue was a successful international Grand Prix jumper who has sired many licensed stallion and international show jumpers before he passed away at a very young age. Chacco Blue is the WBFHS/Rolex No. 1 Jumping Sire for 2017, 2018 and once again in 2019!

We are elated to welcome Cabardino's top show jumping bloodlines to our breeding program as we eagerly await an abundance of top foal crops. Cabardino is a spectacular 4' hunter who combines scope, technique, temperament, beauty and movement in one complete package.
Cabardino sired an approved stallion, during his first year of breeding in Germany. He is known beautiful, very flashy and refined foals with excellent movement and incredible technique over jumps.
Cabardino's temperament is second to none and his technique and scope is simply extraordinary. He has won many hack classes, including the under saddle classes at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada in 2007 and 2008. Cabardino is also the sire of countless A Circuit Champions and Reserve Champions in the US and In Canada. He has produced several Premium and Champion Foals during his first two years of breeding in North America. His offspring have won Hunter Breeding Championships at Devon, Warrenton and Upperville and have been circuit champions including WEF and HITS Ocala.

PF's Simba Gold W
Showcases all the quality one could expect from his heritage
PF's Simba Gold W is a 2 year old Bay Hanoverian Stallion who’s very prestigious show jumping pedigree speaks for its self. Sired by the world renowned show jumper, Stakkato Grande and Grandsire Stakkato Gold (x Stakkato), are on the top side of his pedigree. His dam's side of his pedigree reflects equal sought after show jumping bloodlines as Voltaire and Argentinus. Simba Gold W showcases all the quality that one would expect from his outstanding heritage. This young stallion has correct confirmation, outstanding athleticism in style - scope and jumping abilities, powerful movement and good looks. Simba Gold is a minor image in quality of his grandfather Stakkato Gold.
Stakkato Gold was “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2015” and at the same time he had been the number one of all German sires in FN's predicted breeding value statistics for several years. Stakkato Gold is modern jumper breeding in a complete package. He reached international recognition in shows and as a sire while he was still young. He was the best jumper stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2003. He again proved his outstanding talent for jumping at the 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2004 where he was awarded the maximum score of 10.0 several times. In his very first show season in 2005, Stakkato Gold won and placed with the best in tests for young show jumpers. He continued in 2006, again winning or placing near the top up to medium (M) level and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. Later he was highly successful at advanced (S***) level. In 2009 he won the final of the Youngster Tour in Neumünster under Jan Sprehe and placed in many competitions, e.g. in Dortmund, Nörten-Hardenberg, Assen/Netherlands, Oldenburg and Gera.
Great Grandsire Stakkato produced 28 licensed stallions for the Hanoverian Society, including well-known Stolzenberg, Stanley Salito, Saint Amour, and Satisfaction I-III. Already 61 of his daughters were awarded the State Premium title in 2010, and more than 359 successful sport horses sired by Stakkato are registered. Stakkato has already achieved a life winning sum of 240,000 Euro, and was a multiple German Champion and winner of international show jumping tests with Eva Bitter. In 2007, he was awarded the title "Stallion of the Year“ in Verden.

PF's Furst Impression
An Exceptional Son of Furst Henrick
A exceptional son of Furst Henrich, Furst Impression PF bloodlines consists of the 'whos who' of successful foundation sires; five very famous stallions on both the sire and dam side ~ including Florestan I, Donnerhall, Rubinstein, Weltmeyer and Argentan. This very talented stallion was provisionally licensed at the Hanoverian Hengst Keuring in Verden, Germany. In 2007 he completed his 100 day stallion testing at Paxton Farm with a very impressive score of 122.23 points, which made him an Elite stallion.
Furst Impression PF once again proving his extreme rideability, big powerful movement, scope, powerful stylish big jump, and wonderful type, and outstanding looks. His consistent offspring mirror his outstanding quality’s, from many foal crops, grand champions at Devon, mare performance winners, to many other notable accomplishments.
Furst Impression has shown in the dressage ring as youngster, and then showed in the hunters in Florida. He is truly a wonderful all-round talented stallion. He also crosses very well with a wide variety of mares and is very consistent in the overall quality of his offspring; their movement, type, jump and most of all he passes on excellent his temperament and rideability.
Furst Impression a very consistent producer for the show ring, his offspring are excelling everywhere, starting right from their foal inspections, to the hunter breeding ring, to the dressage arena, and hunter show ring. Furst Impression is now exclusively used in our breeding program at Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians.
Cabalito is making his mark as one of the most influential hunter sires in the U.S
This elegant and impressive stallion, son of Cordoba, was imported by Whitehedge Farm in 2001 and brings unique bloodlines to this country that are known in Germany for producing horses of excellent character and rideability. At his licensing, Cabalito was selected by the State Stud of Celle. He received 8s in willingness to work, walk, and trot, and completed the test barefoot in the top half of his class.
After being imported to the U.S. by Whitehedge Farm, Cabalito was 2001 USDF Region 9 Mature Horse Champion, and AHS Reserve Champion stallion. He was campaigned very successfully in the hunter ring, and was Champion in the First Year and Second Year Green at many “AA” rated shows including Ocala Winter Finals. He was third in the $25,000 GALA Hunter Classic (top photo left).
Demonstrating his enormous scope and jumping ability, he moved into the jumper ring, progressing to Level 7 in less than a year. Cabalito was then sold to a junior jumper rider in Florida, where he was campaigned successfully from 2007 - 2010 in both Florida and Colorado (bottom photo left). Cabalito returned to the hunter ring in Arizona and California in 2010, competing in the Regular Working Hunters and winning several Championships in the Adult Hunters.
He is clearly a very tolerant, versatile and easy to get along with stallion with high rideability. Cabalito has proven to be an exceptional producer throughout his career, and has offspring competing up to the highest levels in the hunter and jumper rings. He has produced inspection champions, MPT winners, hunter breeding champions, USDF in-hand and dressage winners, champions in the First Year Green Hunters, Junior Hunters, Children and Adult Hunter division champions and has many offspring that are very loved by their junior and amateur riders.

A son of the famous show jumper, 'World Cup IV,' Wellesley is a 17.0 hand Chestnut Elite stallion by SPS Esplanade. who combines his fathers beautiful temperament and powerful appearance with his dam’s elegance and lightness.
Wellesley combines his father’s beautiful temperament and powerful appearance with his dams lightness. Not only did he demonstrate powerful movement but also a very scopey jump with great style that he passes on to his offspring. His dam, SPS Esplanade, has produced many successful show horses in the hunter, jumper and dressage disciplines.
Wellesley’s offspring have proven to be exceptional performance horses. Many of his foals have been champion at their foal inspections and have followed through on the early promise with successful show careers. One of his first son’s, Wolfe WF, has achieved many hunter Championships on the Southern California “A” Show Circuit as well as USEF Zone Champion Awards. Additionally Wolfe has received AHS year-end awards in each of his show years. He has achieved extraordinary feat in both the Professional and Amateur divisions (see video below).
Wellesley’s daughter Waltzing Mathilda WF, has also earned Championships at many prestigious “A” Circuit Southern California horse shows, including Half-Circuit Champion at the Thermal Desert show. His daughter, EM Wildflower, was the highest scoring mare in her MPT (7/8/8, and 9/8 for jumping).
Wellesley PF, a very accomplished producer of successful competition sons, such as Wolfe WF, Waterloo WF, Wolsey WF, Wycliffe PF and daughter Waltzing Mathilda PF, who all demonstrated pure quality, class, and a abundance of talent as top show hunters competing at national levels.As a competition horse himself, competing up the Prix St. George level with German rider Elke Mulholland (shown left) Wellesley won many titles and was top of his class at his Stallion Performance Test.
Wellesley PF is also a foundation stallion of Pedigo Hanoverians, a very accomplished sire, grandsire and great grandsire of many of our top producing broodmares. His offspring a mirror of his great type, quality, rideability, stylish jump, and modern Hanoveriann type. Sadly, Wellesley PF passed away in the summer of 2017, but his legacy lives on though his outstanding offspring. Frozen semen is still available to date.

Holsteiner of splendid form - first class in line, elegance & type
We at Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians are very excited to announce that we have purchased a supply of frozen semen from the late world renowned Holsteiner stallion Corlando. Our stock will be used privately in our breeding program, so we eagerly await our 2020 Corlando foals and our many foals crops in the years to come.

Corlando is a 17h Dark Bay stallion, son of the legendary stallion Calypso II (Rinaldo / Landvogt) and is approved by the German Verband, Westfalian, Rheinlander, Hessen, Bavarian, Baden - Wurtemberg and ISR. At his 1988 Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf he had an overall score of 120.78, a Dressage score of 112.78 and a Jumping score of 132.18 that placed him in the top 5. Corlando's sire, Calypso II descends fro the legendary Angle-Norman, Cor de la Bryere. He is quoted as being "one of the few genuinely impressive stallions of German competition horse breeding" and one of the greatest Holstein foundation sires of all time.

PF's Sam Steele
Son of the Famous Dressage Stallion Sherlock Holmes
Sam Steele is a Black Stallion standing 16.3 hh, born in 1998. A son of the famous dressage stallion, Sherlock Holmes, Sam placed second in his performance test out of 43 stallions, earning the high scores of 141.14 for rideability, and 139.76 for jumping.
His dam SPS Eskalade produced three licensed stallions as well as top hunters. Sherlock Holmes offspring like himself are multi talented as hunters, jumpers and dressage horses and produces impressive offspring with extravagant movement.
Sam Steele PF is a foundation stallion of many top producing mares with notable offspring accomplishments, as well as top scoring young North American-bred mares, winners of the Hartwig Prize, multiple champions in many disciplines, top scoring foals, and mares at inspection, to name a few.
Sam has been instrumental to our mare line and is the top producer of Elite Mares and the foundation of our breeding program. With his lovable personality, he is favourite around the farm and also loves having his photo taken.
Modern Black Stallion with Enormous Scope
A modern black stallion with enormous freedom in his shoulder, a lot of scope and powerful jump. By Don Frederico named hanoverian stallion of the year by the German Verband, Dam Ribana is by the famous stallion Rubinstein. Licensed in verden in 2011 and 70 day tested at Adelheidsdorf with very notable testing scores.
Due to his enormous freedom of shoulder and the power in his hindquarters, Dubarry doesn’t know any limits to his movement. He has demonstrated these abilities during his first public presentations and has displayed himself as a very rideable and motivated athlete. Imported from Celle in July 2015, Dubarry brings elegance and high rideability.
Dubarry’s father is the exceptional sire, stallion of the year 2012, Don Frederico, whose willingness to perform, carrying power of the hind legs, and superior gaits combine in Dubarry and meet the damline of Klaseta. Several licensed stallions such as Grannus (Graphit), Beltoni (Belissimo M), and Dynamic (Dimaggio) originate from this successful lineage. Producer of horses like Isabell Werth's top GP performer Don Johnson FRH and Olympic medalist Diva Royal, Don Frederico is an ancestral master with genetic potency. Heredity of Olympic proportions!
Dubarry’s dam, Ribana (Rubinstein I) perfectly ensures the rideability as well as the willingness to perform, and makes Dubarry the modern young sire of the future.

Designated as a Premium Stallion at the 2000 Stallion Licensing
Designated as a Premium Stallion at his 2000 stallion licensing, ES Widmark PF finished third overall at the 2001 Adelheidsdorf 70 day test, earning 9s for trot and canter, and competed successfully at Grand Prix Dressage with rider Meg Williams.
Stamping his offspring with good looks, talent and temperament they have been successful in breed shows, dressage and the hunter show ring, with both professionals and amateur riders. The willingness and rideability of his offspring is widely acknowledged. HIs foals have been named top foals at Hanoverian, Oldenburg, and Swedish inspections and many have gone on to win at several top breed shows, such as Devon Perpetual Trophy for the highest scoring Hanoverian. Other Widmark PF offspring highlights top scoring elite mares, top scoring EMC mares at inspection, Dr Hartwig Award winners and two very notable show hunters, 'Willow CBF' nationally recognized in both the professional, and amateur/owner divisions, 'With Affection' who captured a large win in the Young Hunters Division at Capital Challenge, while continuing great success on the west coast and 'Won Casanova' who also showed great promise through wins in the Young Hunters, are all going on to greatness. All three are ridden by the great hunter rider Phillip Cillis.
In 2017 'Wroyal Diamond PF' (video link below) captured the top Hanoverian Horse title at the 'Sallie B Wheeler Championships' in Del Mar, CA; along with a second placing in the 2 year old Colt Division and a third in the Best Young Horse category; handled by Ryan Pedigo. Wroyal Diamond PF shows incredible promise as another one of Widmark's top show hunter offspring.

PF's Merlin 'Magic'
Son of Matcho X ~ Winner of his 1982 Stallion Test
ES Merlin, originally registered as 'Magic' is a son of 'Matcho X' ~ the winner of his 1982 Stallion Performance Test at Adelheidsdorf.
'Matcho X' produced 46 licensed stallions, 64 States Premium Mares and 1,285 show horses. Merlin PF was reserve champion at his performance test at November Hill Farm, ranking first in jumping, and second of modern Hanoverian horse. The sons and daughters of Merlin PF clearly demonstrate his quality as a refining stallion and sire of the modern Hanoverian horse, and abundance of quality.
Merlin’s dam, St.Pr.St. Eskalade, produced three licensed Hanoverian stallions before her untimely death in 1995. In 2002, his daughter EM Mathilda received the highest score of any North American bred horse in her Mare Performance Test. Mathilda has gone on to produce many of Windswept Farm’s champion sport horses. In 2004, Merlin was ranked as one of the highest producing stallions of Elite Mares by the American Hanoverian Society (AHS). In 2009, one of Merlin’s sons, ‘Mad Anthony,’ qualified for the prestigious Govenor General’s Cup class at the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, where he placed 3rd overall. Also in 2009, daughter ‘Montego Bay’ and granddaughter ‘Latika’ both tied for Champion Filly at their inspection. Merlin produces horses with beautiful heads, classic looks and outstanding form over fences. His offspring are suitable for dressage, hunter, show jumping or eventing disciplines. He is, by all accounts, a very versatile stallion.
Merlin PF has had great impact as a foundation stallion, producing many top hunter and jumper offspring and some of our best producing foundation mares. A versatile all-round stallion he also has a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren showing and producing themselves.
Sadly, for all of us who knew him and worked with him, Merlin passed away peacefully at Ryan Pedigo Farms in 2018, but we still have frozen semen to help carry forward this wonderful stallions progeny.

Magical Millennium PF received breeding permission at the Olderburg Korplatz, this first class stallion exudes elegance, and expressiveness through his three first class gaits, scope, powerful big jump, and extreme rideability by his dam’s line of Furst Heinrich.
Magical Millennium PF has a truely wonderful temperament, rideability, willingness to learn and quality of type and movement. In 2017 he dominated with OSM Christian Koller on the reins at the Bundeschampionat event in the four and five year old driving horses category. He went on to receive the title Sovereignly.
Attending the 14 day stallion testing at Adelheidsdorf and shined for excellent movement, rideability, character, and motivation. Final dressage scores 8.11, 9.0 excellent movement, 8.75 rideability, 8.5 interior character and motivation.
Magical Millennium PF is to date the first son by Millennium to stand in the US.
PF's Federalist (Faberge)
Son of the legendary stallion 'For Pleasure'
Federalist is a son of the legendary stallion For Pleasure and the States Premium mare SPS Eskalade (Eklatant - Equador xx) who produced three licensed sons. His sire, For Pleasure, is one of the world’s most successful show jumpers with earnings of 1.8 million Euro. He contributed to four championship victories over the past eight years with the German Team, winning Gold four times. He earned many national and international titles and won 75 S-Level classes in his long career. For Pleasure scored 145.95 for jumping in his performance test in Medingen and has received a jumping index of 156 points.
His offspring exhibit many of his outstanding talents; correct conformation, extravagant movement and an athletic scopey powerful jump. They have proven to be attractive horses that show good form over fences for the hunter and jumper disciplines and many are successful in the hunter ring.
Federalist PF is now only used privately in our breeding program at Ryan Pedigo Hanoverians.

Formally known as Ricochet CH, a stunning black Westphalen stallion by Redwine, out of Ideal’s Saphron (Ideal x Frohwin). Royal Remmington PF exudes class, presence, excellence conformation, top movement, rideability, scope, and a stylish jump, just like his sire Redwine who was shown to great successes though the first year green hunters by famous hunter rider John French. Royal Remmington PF is currently approved through the SBS registry.
Notable accomplishments in 2014 include capturing the USEF Horse of the Year Award, Grand Champion Hunter Breeding Award, USEF Horse of the Year Champion Hunter 2-year old, Atlanta Winter Classic BYH Champion, Upperville Colt & Horse Show Winner in the two year old colts class; plus 34 best young horse wins.
